16U A American
From Coach Jesse: 16U A American had our final home game against the Quakers in the Rust. This is the team that’s responsible for the new policy that the teams need to leave the ice separately because both teams and parents got into a fight. Let me tell you their parents did not disappoint. What a bunch of a holes. We started off the scoring with Ethan Chantler getting 2 in a row. Cayden Spencer then struck on a beautiful shot from the point. En fuego Bolin scored short handed, and 7 seconds into the 3rd Ethan Chantler found the back of the net to secure a hat trick. TK added 2 and then Big Mike B got one with a minute left. The boys dominated against a very undisciplined Quakers team. I am very proud of them for not retaliating although we did take some stupid penalties. In one shift a kid from the Quakers elbowed TK in the jaw which cut his nose and 30 seconds later hit Ian in what probably should have been a charge that broke his collar bone. The Quakers did what they do and imploded at the end causing the refs to remove several of them from the ice. Hopefully they get some counseling or choose pickleball next season.
Sunday we traveled to Hershey to play the Jr Bears. We did not play our best game. We played slow, were not physical, and played bad on the circles. Our forecheck was not constant which allowed 9 odd man rushes in which Quinn Kelly stopped 7. Our loan goal was a beautiful 2-1 pass from Wyatt Bolin to Ben Zigmond where Ben went bar down and it echoed through the barn. We may see them in the playoffs and will be ready.
Friday we play Exton in the first round of the playoffs and hope to bring home the banner!

12U B
From Team Manager Morgan: The 12U B team kicked off the weekend with a non league game against the Delaware Ducks at Patriot Ice Center on Friday night. The kids came out strong at first but lost a lot of steam after scoring a goal that wasn’t called by refs. It messed with their heads and they couldn’t regroup, with the game ending in a 6-3 loss. The team was right back at it Saturday in an afternoon game against the Philadelphia Little Flyers. The kids were fired up, knowing they should have won the night before, and came out on the ice ready to play. It was a fantastic match up with the teams both playing well, but we succeeded in our goal and came out with a 4-2 win for our final league game of the season. What a way to end on a high note.

10U A American
From Coach Chris: 10UA faced off against the Susquehanna Stampede on Saturday and skated to a 7-6 victory. It was not our best effort, but the boys found a way to pull out the win. On Sunday, we had our second matchup with Campus Wild... It was revenge mode time as it was a tough loss in our last matchup with them, losing by a goal in a lackluster effort. Through the first half of the game, it seemed a repeat was in order. We were off to a rough start, giving up 6 goals through the first 2 periods. A timeout was called, and it was clear by the look on all the boys' faces that they knew what they needed to do. The bench was silent, the timeout expired, and the comeback began. We rallied to put up 6 goals in the 3rd period, leading to a 9-6 victory. I was super proud of the way the boys never quit, and rallied around each other to bring this one home.

10U B
From Coach Ben: 10U B had the weekend off but continue to be proactive and practice hard, looking forward to a St. Patrick’s Day tourney.

8U
From Coach Chris: 8U battled the Campus Wild in PA on Saturday morning. Our focus for the game, as it has been in recent weeks, was to attack the puck with speed and aggression. Like last weekend, the team responded and put consistent pressure on the Wild, limiting their ability to skate with the puck and leading to offensive chances for us. Eric stopped most of the shots they managed to get on net, leading to a final score of 8-2, with our goals coming from Carter, Nick, AJ, and Cole.
We will be back in PA this weekend for a game against the Chester County Cougars.
