Greetings, JBH families!

16U A National

In Saturday's game, Enrique Boyd scored a hat trick, and both Evan Finnicum and Brennan Austin scored a pair. Steven Melson and Aydan Savery each scored one. Ryne Dominick stopped 10 out of 12 goals. On Sunday, goals were scored by Tyler Heffington and James Austin. Dylan Morrison stopped 40 of the 48 shots he faced.

16U A American
The A American Midget team travelled to Exton on Saturday night to face the Kings.
From Coach Jesse:
"16U A American traveled to Exton Saturday night for a match up of first place teams. Jeet Patel got the scoring started off of a pass from Kaiden McCoury that he buried in the net. The game was back and fourth until the second period, when Exton put two in about 30 seconds apart. In the third, Kaiden McCoury took a breakout pass from Jackson Persoleo on a 2 v 1, and he beat the goalie glove high to tie the score. Brandon Aungst was an absolute monster in net ,and he maintained his significant lead in the DVHL as the top goaltender in 16U A American. His goals against average is 1.29 and save percentage is .932 in five games. He made some critical saves during the game. Overtime lasted 50 seconds, as Tanner Kinkus buried a shot from the circle on passes from Wyatt Bolin and Lucas Bockhorn to seal the deal. It was a great team win and once again, the boys never quit. Everyone played well. This division is tight and any team could take one any day if you are not prepared. Next up, we have a home and home with Central Penn, and hopefully the last of homecoming dances for this year. " |

The Pee Wee A American team played the Hatfield Ice Hawks at home on Saturday afternoon, and faced the Nighthawks on Sunday morning, also at home.
From Coach Judy:
"This weekend, we faced Hatfield ice Hawks. Surging in the second period with 3 goals, we shut them down in the third to win 4-3. On Sunday, our team did much better in a rematch with the Nighthawks, and we managed a tie game against an undefeated team."
Up next - the Pee Wee A American team will be the first team to travel to one of the DVHL's newest clubs. They travel all the way up to Sunbury,Pa - a place I'm told is so far away that they have to pump in sunshine - to face the Susquehanna Stampede on Saturday afternoon. |

On Sunday, goals were scored by Michael Monzo, Adam Castellano, and Haoran Jin. McKayla Mellon stopped 14 of the 18 shots she faced.
Up next - the Pee Wee B team will face Princeton Youth at home on Sunday afternoon. |

10U A American
The Squirt A American team played a non-league game against the Jr. Flyers on Saturday afternoon.
From Coach Chris:
"10UA battled the Junior Flyers on Saturday in a non-league matchup. Again, team defense prevailed, allowing only 8 shots, no goals against. and executing with the transition game to create offense. I've been continuously preaching to the boys about good defense creates good offense, and how the most successful teams are not the ones who have the player with the most goals or highest stats in the league, but those that go out every game and play for each other. It was apparent this weekend that they're buying in, and it shows in the way they play the game - even to the point of adjusting our positions around in the third period and still continuing to find success. This is a testament to their understanding of the game and working together as a single unit on the ice."
Next up - the Squirt A team have the weekend off.

10U B
The Squirt B team lost to the undefeated Central Penn Panthers at home on Saturday morning. The final score was 12-3.
Logan Fraundorfer scored two goals, and Gabriel Brown scored one. Andrew Kulp stopped 26 of the 38 shots he faced.
Up next - the Squirt B team travel to Downingtown to face the Campus Wild on Sunday morning. |
|
8U B
The Mites started their regular season this past Saturday against the Delmarva Raptors.
From Coach Salter:
"8U traveled to southern Delaware on Sunday for a mid-day game against the Raptors. In contrast to our early morning games, the players were loud and full of energy. It was a competitive matchup, featuring solid goaltending on both sides. Travis made some big stops for us in net, and we were able to capitalize on our chances more than the Raptors, leading to a 7-2 win for the Jr. Blue Hens. Goals were scored by Carter, AJ, and Eric."
Next up - the Mites have the weekend off. |
