16U A American
The A American Midget team played the Quakers on Saturday evening in West Chester, and played a home game against Campus Wild on Sunday.
From Coach Jesse:
"16U A American went to PNY Saturday evening to play the Quakers. It wasn’t even close from the start. Lucas Bockhorn scored a natural hat trick in three shifts. The scoring did not stop. There were multiple goal scorers. Kaiden Mccoury had six points, Wyatt Bolin, Justin Silver, and Ethan Chantler all had two goals and multiple assists. Ben Zigmond put away his first goal on a breakaway. Congrats Ben! It was a total team effort. Brandon Aungst was extremely strong in net and allowed one goal. The final score was 12-1.
Sunday, we were home against the Campus Wild. We quickly got to work with a beautiful break out from Cayden Spencer to Kaiden Mccoury. then to Tanner Kinkus - who buried a bar down snipe. Mike Brzozowski buried a shot on a pass from Chase Wheeler to take us up 2-0. Tanner Kinkus would add two more for a hatty, and Lucas Bockhorn put us up 5-2 and added an exclamation point with a short-handed empty net goal. Quinn Kelley was solid in net, and the 16U A American team continues to roll. We continue to have multiple goal scorers every game and all players are making contributions. Next up, we have Chester County Saturday at the Barn at 1 PM. This is a huge game, and the boys will be ready." |

10U A American
The Squirt A American had an away game at the Quakers on Saturday morning, and then had another away game on Sunday morning at Snider Hockey.
From Coach Lorne:
"10U A played two away games this weekend. Saturday, they played at PNY against the undefeated Quakers. The boys played well as a team and ended up winning 6-1. Then, on Sunday, they traveled to play Snider Hockey. The team won 6-2, which pushed the team into 1st place in the 10U American division.
The 10UA team has improved drastically each week, both on defense and offense. The team currently leads the league in goals for, goals against, and goal differential stats. It’s been great to see all the hard work at practices pay off in games.
Next weekend, 10U A American will play the Princeton Tigers at home."

8U
The Mites faced the Campus Wild away on Saturday morning.
From Coach Chris:
"8U was on the road Saturday to take on the Campus Wild. The Jr Blue Hens showed up with a lot of energy and took it to the Wild, rarely letting them have scoring chances, resulting in a final score of 10-3. It was a great team effort, with a number of nice plays that resulted from passing. Puck movement will be essential when we take on stronger teams, so it was great to see players looking for their teammates and passing the puck.
We are off next weekend, but our schedule starts picking up after that."
Up next - As of now (Thursday, Oct 4), the Mites will start their regular season on October 20th away at the Delmarva Raptors. The season is still being scheduled, so the rest of the season will start filling out soon. |
